I have been coming to All In on and off for about a year and a half now. I’m a hiker and I’m clumsy - not the best combination. When I first started seeing Angeline, I couldn't even go up and down stairs without a sharp pain going up my leg, so I had pretty much stopped trying to hike. But Angie gave me exercises, used the ultrasound, showed me dog pictures, and taped me up (aka gave me my racing stripes). We worked hard on strengthening and stabilizing my knees, and after a couple months of PT, I finally did my first hike without pain in over a year. I'll admit, I cried a little when we got back to the car. I had really thought I wouldn't be able to do it anymore.
Now I come in more sporadically (usually because one of my dogs has knocked me over), but it's always one of my favorite parts of the week when I get to go. I occasionally call Angie a witch, because it's like magic how much better I feel after seeing her. Sometimes she kicks my butt, and other times she pampers me, but we always have fun while we're at it. We even discovered that I have an unusual reaction to the suction cups and the spooning - hysterical laughter. It's hard to feel down about an injury flaring up when you can't stop giggling!
I'm so grateful to have not only found a great physical therapist, but also a wonderful friend.
