Peach Cobbler




Ingredients


4-6 Fresh Peaches

2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour

2 T sugar

3/4 t. baking powder

1/4 t. baking soda

1/2 t. salt

6 T cold butter

1/2 c. sour cream

1/4 c heavy cream

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.  Grease 9x9 baking dish.  Peel, pit and slice peaches and place in baking dish.  In a bowl combine flour, baking soda, salt, sugar and baking powder. Cut in cold butter until crumbly like corn meal. Add sour cream and heavy cream and stir to combine. Drop over the peaches in baking dish.  Bake for 45-50 minutes.  Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

*You can use frozen peaches, increase the cook time to 70-75 minutes.
